Happy New Year and welcome to the first issue of the Literary Loft.  My name is Monica Marie Jones and I am officially a full time author, writer and poet now that I have recently stepped out on faith and left my full time job (with benefits) to pursue my passion of putting pen to paper to infinity and beyond!

Writing is not only my passion, but it is my purpose and I know that it is my calling to fulfill that purpose by writing to inspire, motivate, encourage, teach, entertain, and add value to the lives of others.

This blog will include a little something for everyone.  You will find everything, including but not limited to articles on nightlife, relationships, health, fitness, history, business, book reviews, and current events.  You will also have the opportunity to enjoy my poetry, short stories, excerpts from my novels, and so much more!
